Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and innovative Director Medicinal Chemistry to join our drug discovery team at Proteros Biostructures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in organic chemistry, drug design, and molecular modeling, with a track record and passion for discovering and optimizing new therapeutic compounds.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- Drug Discovery project leadership experience with a track record for delivery of drug candidates
- Strong knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry
- Familiarity with molecular modeling and cheminformatics tools
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
