Job Description
Special Education Teacher responsible for providing individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in education
- Current IL Type 10 LBS1 Special Education Teacher Certification
- Urban / high-need teaching experience
- Experience with IMPACT SSM
- Experience in inclusion and co-teaching models
- Experience writing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Familiarity with progress monitoring tools and data analysis
- Experience working in urban or charter school environments
