Addiction Medicine Nurse Liaison, Urban Health

Providence Health's Urban Health team is accepting applications for L4 Addiction Medicine Nurse Liaisons to join their team. These roles support patients admitted into acute care at St. Paul's Hospital who are followed by the Addiction Medicine Consult Team (AMCT), providing point-of-care nursing education, substance use and overdose education, and care planning.

Requirements

• Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
• Three years of recent related experience in clinical specialty
• Ability to coach and supervise
• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) procedures
• Ability to work as a member of a interdisciplinary team
• Ability to apply decision making and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
