The Director, IS Applications provides excellence in enterprise application planning, implementation, and support for Providence St. Joseph Health (PSJH) and affiliated organizations. The role leads, mentors, and develops managers and staff, collaborating closely with executives and leaders across the system. The Director maintains relationships with key business partners and senior IT leaders to leverage best practices and evaluate emerging application technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or engineering, Business Management, Information Services, Accounting, or Commerce.
- Master’s Degree in Information Services, Business Administration, Accounting, Commerce, CPA, or equivalent education/experience (preferred).
- 8+ years of Information Services leadership experience.
- 10+ years of total relevant experience (or equivalent combination), including experience creating and executing strategic plans for complex issues; standardizing complex and disparate processes; and application lifecycle methodologies (deployment, support, lifecycle).
- 10+ years of experience in application design and/or implementation of large scale ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Applications, Infor Lawson).
- ERP experience leading IS teams across two or more application/business process areas such as: Experience implementing Supply Chain Applications (Contract Management, Sourcing, Purchasing, Supplier/Vendor Management, Pricing, Inventory) at minimum.
- Experience leading large scale business transformation and ERP implementations spanning multiple regions/geographies and business process areas.
