We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated students who are currently enrolled in a related post-secondary program and returning to their studies in the next academic term. Students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting digital services that Nova Scotians use every day, while building practical skills, growing their professional confidence, and learning alongside experienced professionals.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program related to technology, digital services, data, business, communications, or a related field
- Returning to school in the next academic term following the work placement
- An interest in digital services and how technology can improve public services
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new tools and approaches
- Comfort using computers and digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, email, online collaboration tools)
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- An interest in people-centred service design
- A commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility
