Seasonal Parks Maintenance Laborers (Parks, Grounds, and Trails)

Seasonal Parks Maintenance Laborers needed to clean and maintain Provo City parks and grounds, Center Street, or trail maintenance. Must have physical strength and agility to perform the work, ability to follow directions, and knowledge of safe use of hand tools and equipment.

Requirements

• Clean and maintain Provo City parks and grounds, Center Street, or trail maintenance.
• Pick up debris and litter.
• Empty various containers into trucks and receptacles.
• Load, dump, and pack landscaping materials.
• May operate trucks and empty truck loads as directed.
• Maintain and clean restrooms.
• Use hand and power tools.
• Pull weeds, lay sod, plant flowers, and prune trees and shrubs.
• Perform major landscaping duties, such as operating ride-on and walk-behind lawn mowers, string trimmers, edger's, sod cutters, aerators, fertilizer spreaders, tractors, and other equipment related to park and grounds maintenance.
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment.
• Assist with irrigation repair and maintenance
