Analyst, IT Security -1

Prudential is seeking a Tier 1 Analyst to join the Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The role involves working a shift schedule, collaborating with T2 and T3 counterparts, and developing skills in defensive cybersecurity operations.

Requirements

• Proficient in English communication
• Ability to work on-site at the Global Security Operations Centre for scheduled shifts
• Experience with standard cybersecurity detection tools
• Skilled in Windows, Linux, and MacOS operating systems
• Possession of cybersecurity certification(s) from reputable organizations or a strong motivation to obtain certification within the six months of employment
• Proficient in using cyber defense tools for continuous monitoring and analysis of system activity to identify malicious activities
• Experience in analyzing security events of varying severity levels and appropriately escalating incidents for detailed analysis and triage
• Capability to independently investigate and analyze log data for anomalous, suspicious, or malicious activities
• Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate frequently, and share knowledge generously with peers
• Completion of a university internship or previous work experience in technology, Help Desk, or General IT roles
• Strong desire for professional growth, learning, and development
• Self-motivated and proactive
