Lead the requirements gathering and analysis process across business units, ensuring business needs are well-defined, traceable, and aligned with strategic objectives. Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into functional and technical specifications for system development and integration. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure clarity, feasibility, and alignment of requirements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with strong exposure to business analysis and quality assurance functions.
- Proven experience leading teams of BAs and/or QAs across multiple, concurrent IT projects.
- Experience in insurance or BFSI domain (preferred), with solid understanding of life insurance processes, products, and compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure high-quality system delivery.
- Strong experience in stakeholder management, documentation, and change control.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and JIRA Xray. Knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber) is a plus.
- Deep understanding of Business Analysis methodologies (BABOK-aligned preferred) and Software QA processes.
- Ability to define and communicate a holistic BA–QA strategy aligned with enterprise goals. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including facilitation and presentation to senior stakeholders.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills to manage multiple parallel initiatives.
- Adept at mentoring junior analysts and QAs, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability. Continuous learner with awareness of industry trends in business analysis, testing, automation, and digital insurance technology.
