The Senior Insurance Risk Analyst is responsible for analyzing coverage and claims settlements and act as a liaison with our third-party vendor to ensure reporting and structure are maintained. The position requires three years of increasingly responsible experience in in business, insurance, or related finance field, including two years of administrative and supervisory responsibility.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of the operations of the business – terms, processes, and the effects on finance.
- Basic knowledge of flow of financial data from operations to subsystems, to PeopleSoft GL and reports.
- Honesty and integrity at all times.
- Ability to respond to change productively and handle additional projects as assigned.
- Confidentiality of company information; follow proper guidelines for distribution of data.
- Employ analytical skills – visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems and concepts, and make decisions that make sense based on available information.
- Utilize applications appropriately for all projects; proficient in Excel (macros, functions/formulas).
- Maintain effective relationships with all levels of the organization.
