Logistics Specialist

Prysmian is the world leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry. The Logistics Specialist role is responsible for ensuring all processes for outbound freight are managed properly at the Marshall facility. The position reports to the Distribution Center Coordinator as part of the plant’s Supply Chain team.

Requirements

• At least three years’ experience in a demanding manufacturing, retail, or logistics environment
• Demonstrated ability to calculate space and weight requirements
• High degree of computer skills such as Microsoft Office and ERP systems
• Self-managed work style, with attention to details
• Understanding of customer needs with a focus on exceeding customer expectations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for a broad audience ranging from executives to blue collar team members
