Machine Operator

Prysmian is hiring machine operators for full-time second and third-shift openings. As a machine operator, you will work on a team of 6 – 7 operators and a team coordinator who are supported by the control room operator. The job involves exposure to physical hazards, high noise areas, and exposure to potential lost time accidents.

Requirements

• Can perform basic reading, writing, arithmetic, and computer functions.
• Able to communicate and cooperate with other associates.
• Can lift loads up to 50 pounds and physically traverse throughout the multi-level facility.
• Possesses sufficient motor skills to safely operate and utilize a forklift.
