Job Description
Prysmian Group is a global cable manufacturer looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join their team in Kirkkonummi, Finland. The role involves leading improvement projects, designing resources, and carrying out practical technical work in automation. The position requires a strong background in electrical engineering and automation, as well as experience in industrial automation design and maintenance. Requirements
- AMK or DI engineering education in electrical engineering and/or automation
- More than one year of experience in industrial automation design and/or maintenance
- Experience in solving problems and developing production technology
- Good knowledge of programmable logic (Siemens S5, S7 Classic, and S7-1500) and programming skills
- Good knowledge of industrial automation components, especially AC and DC motor use
- Experience in industrial data transmission systems (Profinet, Profibus, ASI)
- Willingness to continuous development
- Entrepreneurial spirit, diligence, and a bold attitude to work
- Good teamwork skills
- Good Finnish and English language skills
