Telecom Product Development Senior Engineer

Prysmian is seeking a Telecom Product Development Senior Engineer to support the development and implementation of annual strategic plans, identify and develop fiber cable solutions, and lead interdepartmental meetings to refine scope and develop concepts into desirable solutions.

Requirements

• Engineering Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Materials, Mechanical Engineering, or Applied Physics
• 10+ years of experience in Research & Development, field service, innovation, for optical fiber cables
• Ability to work hands on in a manufacturing environment
• In-depth knowledge of extrusion and cabling processes including tooling design
• Customer-facing and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to align R&D efforts with overall business strategy and objectives
