Job Description
School-Based Registered Nurse - Make a Difference in Children's Lives. IMMEDIATE NEED! Location: Perth Amboy Public Schools. Schedule: Monday- Friday. Hours per week: up to 35 hrs/week. Hours: 8:00-3:00pm. Hourly rate: up to $48/hour.
Requirements
- Current active BSN RN license through the New Jersey Board of Nursing
- Active New Jersey School Nurse Certification or Active Emergency School Nurse Certification
- Must be knowledgeable about communicable disease prevention and medication protocol
- Strong preference for school-based or pediatric experience
- Collaborative, constructive team-building skills are required
- Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
- Current CPR certification and ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and staff
- Knowledge of HIPAA laws with the ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment
- Pediatric background preferred
