Job Description
PsiQuantum is seeking a Senior Optical Packaging & Assembly Engineer to develop and implement high-performance, robust & scalable opto-electronic packaging workflows for photonic integrated circuits. This role involves packaging design, prototyping, sourcing materials, and collaboration with internal and external teams. The company is focused on building quantum computers by harnessing the laws of quantum physics for massive computing performance.
Requirements
- Develop an optical package and fibre-to-chip alignment scheme.
- Help develop packaging prototypes & scalable fibre-to-chip packaging flows and processes.
- Review packaging design BOMs and procure parts.
- Work with external vendors on transferring & scaling packaging designs.
- Work with external partners on developing advanced packaging solutions.
