Senior Document Controller (EPCM Projects)

The Senior Document Controller is responsible for managing and maintaining all project documentation in line with EPCM standards and client requirements. This includes engineering drawings, technical documents, fabrication records, quality control reports, correspondence, and contractual files.

Requirements

• Establish and maintain an efficient document control system for all project phases
• Manage document flow using EDMS or internal control systems
• Ensure proper version control and timely updates of drawings, specifications, and manuals
• Control internal and external correspondences
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and QA/QC departments to ensure document traceability and integrity
• Support project audits and client inspections by maintaining organized and retrievable documentation
• Maintain Master Document Register (MDR) and ensure consistent updates throughout the project lifecycle
• Archive and back up all documentation as per the Company EPCM Quality Management System (QMS)
• Train and guide junior document controllers and administrative staff on document control procedures
