Job Description
The Machine Operator (Set Up) is responsible for setting up and operating various finishing equipment to produce tubing products that meet customer and quality specifications. The position requires the ability to read work instructions, safely move materials, complete production documentation, and perform routine equipment maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
Requirements
- Ability to setup and operate the draw benches, moderns, Do All Saw, and bundling tables
- Operates and produces orders to specification
- Moves material to and from equipment and assists other operators
- Maintains machinery to the best of his/her ability
- Fills out production reports and paperwork accurately
- Cleans all areas of the plant
