Job Description
PTC is a leading manufacturer and marketer of mechanical steel tubing and tubular shapes, plated bar and tubing, and fabricated parts and precision components. Maintenance Mechanic position available in Minneapolis, MN. Performs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic repair on plant equipment and facilities.
Requirements
- Must be capable of performing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical repair on plant equipment, facilities and building.
- Must be able to read and interpret blue-prints and schematic diagrams.
- Must have completed Maintenance Trainee Labor Grade 3 or equivalent in experience and/or formal technical training.
- Must be able to perform all mechanical phases of major projects such as the installation of complicated equipment.
- Must be capable of instructing and teaching maintenance employees of a lower grade.
- Must be able to perform all functions with minimum supervision.
- OBSERVE PROPER SAFETY PRACTICES AT ALL TIMES.
- Must be available for overtime as needed to keep equipment operating.
- Must have complete set of hand tools.
