Job Description
Our growing company is seeking to hire prototype professionals strong in Metal Finishing (fabby) for our Advanced Engineering Center. The prototype metal finisher helps fabricate prototype stamping and automotive build and welded assembly of metal products.
Requirements
- 4 years related fabrication experience with preferred prototype stamping, automotive build and assembly
- Proficient knowledge of working characteristics of metallic materials, machining, and layout techniques
- Ability to work with handtools, power tools, machines, and equipment
- Setup and maintain air tools and other tools for the operation
- Perform basic cleaning of the work area every shift
- Read prints, drawings, specifications and utilize sample parts for the operation
- Follow instructions given on procedures and receive feedback from process and final inspection on work quality
