Job Description
Public Counsel is seeking a 2026 summer intern to support the Child, Youth & Family Advocacy Project. Interns will gain hands-on experience in direct services and policy advocacy, assisting with adoptions, guardianship, and legal advocacy for vulnerable youth. The project addresses issues related to child welfare, family law, and immigrant rights.
Requirements
- Training to conduct client interviews and analyze legal issues.
- Research on legal issues.
- Draft advocacy materials.
- Advising attorneys on cases.
