QA Automation Engineer - Team Lead

The QA Automation Engineer - Team Lead role involves leading the design, implementation, and execution of automated test frameworks to ensure the quality and integrity of Public's web platform.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in QA automation, with at least 1+ year in a leadership or mentoring role.
• Solid hands-on experience with web automation frameworks such as Selenium and RestAssured.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
• Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and integrating automated tests into pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with REST APIs testing tools (e.g., Postman).
• Experience with issue and project tracking tools (Jira and the Atlassian product stack).
• Working knowledge of databases (SQL, MongoDB, InfluxDB) for backend validation.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities, mentor team members, and drive quality ownership across teams.
