Job Description
Join Public Group as Quality Assurance (QA) Team Lead - Automation and lead the design, implementation, and execution of automated test frameworks to ensure the quality and integrity of Public’s web platform. Collaborate closely with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases. Mentor and guide QA automation engineers, promoting best practices and technical excellence.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in QA automation, with at least 1+ year in a leadership or mentoring role.
- Solid hands-on experience with web automation frameworks such as Selenium and RestAssured.
- Proven experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
- Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and integrating automated tests into pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with REST APIs testing tools (e.g., Postman).
- Experience with issue and project tracking tools (Jira and the Atlassian product stack).
- Working knowledge of databases (SQL, MongoDB, InfluxDB) for backend validation.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities, mentor team members, and drive quality ownership across teams.
