Band 6 General Radiographer Locum – Colchester

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 6 General Radiographer to join our team in Colchester. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality radiographic services and ensure the best care for our patients. The role involves conducting diagnostic imaging procedures, preparing patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• A relevant degree in Radiography or a related field, and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• A minimum of 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in a clinical setting, with experience in general radiography within the NHS or private sector in the UK
• Proficiency in using imaging equipment and a solid understanding of radiographic techniques and safety protocols
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and to lead and supervise junior staff when required
• Strong attention to detail to ensure patient safety and accurate imaging results
