Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced Band 6 Locum Biomedical Scientist to join our client’s Haematology and Blood Transfusion team at a reputable NHS Trust in Redhill.
Requirements
- HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist
- Minimum of 2 years’ post-registration experience in Haematology and Blood Transfusion
- Proven competence in cross-matching and serological techniques
- Proficient in using Alinity HQ, Alinity HS, ACL TOP 550, Neo Iris, and WinPath
- Experience working in a UKAS-accredited laboratory
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and laboratory safety procedures
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work shifts if required
