Job Description
Pulse is seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist to join their microbiology team in Guildford. This role focuses on supporting infection diagnosis, antimicrobial stewardship, and patient management within a busy NHS setting. Requirements
- HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist
- BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Proven experience in microbiology, particularly general bacteriology
- Proficiency in EUCAST antibiotic susceptibility testing
- Skilled in plate reading and microscopy techniques
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems and quality standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
