Paediatric Special School Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join a specialist school in West Yorkshire, supporting children and young people with complex learning needs, social and emotional difficulties, and challenging behaviours.

Requirements

• Assess, diagnose, and support children and young people with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) alongside complex learning needs and social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.
• Design and deliver individualised therapy programmes tailored to each pupil’s needs.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, families, and the wider multi-disciplinary team.
• Provide advice, strategies, and training to school staff to support communication across the curriculum.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with professional and organisational standards.

Benefits

• Salary: £37,602 – £45,426 per annum (dependent on experience)
