Special School Speech and Language Therapist

Pulse is seeking a passionate and experienced Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to work within a group of special schools in Northolt and Uxbridge, London. The role involves specialist assessment, intervention, and support for children with a broad range of learning disabilities, focusing on developing communication skills and promoting learning in a holistic way. This is an ideal position for a Band 6/7 therapist with an interest in paediatrics and SEN.

Requirements

• Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent)
• Current HCPC registration
• Experience working with children and young people with complex needs in a special school or SEN setting
• Knowledge of autism, learning disabilities, and alternative communication approaches (e.g., PECS, AAC)
• Strong teamworking, communication, and interpersonal skills
