PulseMedica is seeking an Electronics Design Intern to support the electrical design, component selection, construction, and refinement of their medical device. The ideal candidate will have a broad technical background, embedded software, electronic design, and low noise power electronics. Experience with FPGA is preferred.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelorās of Engineering in Electrical, Computer, or Engineering Physics program.
- Experience with modeling and simulation of electrical systems and hands-on experience working in a lab environment to validate system characteristics and performance.
- Proficient in fundamental circuit design concepts including filter design, and general noise reduction design practices.
- Proficient with common electronics design equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, soldering tools, etc.
- A self-motivated team player who is comfortable and adaptable with working in a dynamic and high-paced environment.
- Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment.
- Must have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
