The Electromechanical Technician will be a key member of the Operations team at our UHT facility with focus on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical, automation, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment failures or malfunctions promptly to minimize production interruptions. This role will conduct preventative maintenance activities while collaborating with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance plans and procedures for improved equipment performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, automation, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment failures or malfunctions
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on industrial machinery
- Operation, troubleshoot, and repair of Steam, Refrigeration, and Wastewater systems
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance activities according to a predefined schedule
- Utilize diagnostic tools, equipment manuals, blueprints, and technical resources to troubleshoot, identify and resolve equipment issues
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance plans and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance activities
- Utilize SAP for completing Purchase requisitions
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Coordinate with other team members, equipment vendors and external contractors for specialized repairs or technical assistance
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
- Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades or improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Train and assist operators in equipment maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques
