The Shipper/Receiver supports efficient warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations by coordinating the accurate movement, storage, and control of inventory, including raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. This role provides hands-on support to production and logistics activities, ensures compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, and follows established SOPs, GMP, and food safety standards.
Requirements
- At least one year of progressive warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience, preferably in a food manufacturing or production environment
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving operations, inventory control, and material handling
- High Reach Forklift certified, with experience operating forklifts, narrow aisle reach trucks, and manual or electric pallet jacks
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, WHMIS, and food manufacturing sanitation requirements
- Strong numerical, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations related to inventory and shipments
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 60 lbs
