Assistant/Associate Professor of Practice in the School of Applied and Creative Computing

The School of Applied and Creative Computing at Purdue University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor of Practice position on the West Lafayette, Indiana campus, starting in Fall 2026. We seek an accomplished professional with experience in all computing fields related to the school, ranging from Animation, Applied Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Computer Graphics, Cyber Forensics, Cyberinfrastructure, Cybersecurity, Data analytics and Visualization, Game Design and Development, Human-Centered Computing, Visual Effects, to VR and XR.

Requirements

• Completion of Ph.D. degree or terminal degree in computing or closely related field by August 1, 2026; or
• Possession of a master’s degree in computing or closely related field with a minimum of five years of relevant industry or teaching experience
