The Assistant Technical Coordinator will serve as live event technician, operator and event technical lead, assisting in planning, design, construction and operation of audio, lighting, video and staging systems for Hall of Music Productions.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- 3 years of technical production work
- Extensive experience in technical area equipment and methodologies
- Demonstrated skills in rigging, electrical, sound reinforcement, video and/or stage systems
- Demonstrated ability to work independently under pressure, pay close attention to detail and deal with a variety of daily obstacles to live event production work
- Ability to functionally supervise, train and direct staff
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from different viewpoints and backgrounds
- Ability to do basic math, filing, and follow office procedures
- Working knowledge of word processing and excel spreadsheets
- Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and customer support
