The Residence Education Coordinator is a full-time professional position responsible for developing strong, inclusive residential communities with a curricular focus. This position will form relationships with individual students, faculty, and staff, including coaching and supervising student staff and mentoring graduate students.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree
- 0-1 year of experience
- One year professional work experience.
- Ability to support a culture of professionalism in alignment with unit values
- Skills in decision making/problems solving, continuous improvement/change management, strategic thinking, financial management, and drive for results.
- Skills in supervision, leading others and promoting teamwork in daily work activity.
- Ability to work and thrive under limited supervision.
- Must have the ability to understand and interpret related local, state, and federal regulations, guidelines, codes and laws.
- Customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from different viewpoints and backgrounds.
- Desire to increase knowledge and skills through on-going development activities.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- A valid US or Canadian Driver's License.
