Job Description
The Purdue University Veterinary Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic, credentialed veterinary technician for our Small Animal Surgery Team. This position will work closely with our orthopedic surgeons and residents, serving as the primary point of communication for clients, referring veterinarians, and the specialty departments within the hospital.
Requirements
- Graduate of AVMA accredited veterinary technology program
- Must be RVT in Indiana within 12 months of starting employment
- Two years of experience working in a Veterinary Hospital or related
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willing to teach clinical skills and concepts to students
- Ability to work under pressure in emergency situations
