The Department of Behavioral Sciences is seeking applications for Limited Term Lecturers (LTLs) in Behavioral Sciences. LTL positions are temporary, non-benefits eligible, part-time positions hired each semester on an as-needed basis.
Requirements
- Teach on campus and/or online courses in sociology or statistics.
- Follow the syllabus and curricula provided.
- Maintain office hours and provide feedback to students in a timely manner.
- Maintain FERPA and Title X certification.
- Assist with program-related duties and administrative tasks, including placement, orientation, proctoring, student evaluations, curriculum and program review.
- Understand and adhere to University policies and guidelines.
- Have competency in effective and appropriate in-person and online (synchronous and asynchronous) delivery instruction.
- Master’s degree in Sociology or a related field (minimum 18 hours of graduate work in Sociology)
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience teaching at the college level or relevant professional experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate both orally and in writing in English
