Job Description
The Data Abstraction Specialist delivers quality solutions to hospital partners across the country by applying clinical expertise to advance patient outcomes and research. They categorize, code, summarize, interpret, and calculate registry/case information from patient medical records and ensure quality submission of data in specified registries or measure data repositories.
Requirements
- Direct Vascular Quality Initiative abstraction experience
- Direct abstraction experience in BMC2 VIC
- Exposure to multiple patient medical record systems (EMRs) and clinical databases
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Microsoft Excel)
- Experience in the M2S software
