Job Description
The Sr. Sustainability Reporting Specialist will support the Corporate Sustainability Department in driving ESG disclosure and transparency by managing data collection, analysis, and auditing workstreams for sustainability reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (i.e., Sustainable Development, Environmental Science, etc.)
- 5-8 years’ direct and relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within the petrochemical or oil & gas industry
- Experience quantifying climate risk, carbon reporting and emissions reduction strategies
- Experience with Materiality Assessments
- Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, standards, and best practices
- Proficient in data analysis, research, and report writing
- Familiarity with or ability to learn reporting tools like, EcoVadis and Sedex or tools serving similar functions
- Life Cycle Assessment and Product Carbon Footprint calculations skills
- Able to work collaboratively in a multi-cultural team environment with the ability to foster collaborative relationships
- Ability to distill and communicate complex details and data into consumable insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for sustainability and a commitment to promoting environmental and social responsibility
