Data and AI Governance Manager to join a well-established Data COE team in London, supporting the delivery of the Data & AI strategy to ensure data is managed consistently, risks are controlled, and policies are applied in practice.
Requirements
- Strong experience in data governance and data management within a complex organisation
- Proven ability to define and deliver data governance strategies, frameworks, and roadmaps
- Good understanding of data risk, controls, and regulatory requirements applicable to insurance industry
- Experience with data governance tools (e.g. Collibra) and driving their adoption
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across business, technology, and senior leadership
- Able to translate complex concepts into simple, clear guidance for different audiences
- Experience leading teams and building collaborative, high-performing environments
- Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, while managing multiple priorities and driving continuous improvement
