Senior Underwriter - US Casualty role available in London/Hybrid, Permanent position, working with International Casualty team, focusing on US Casualty business, providing confidence and reassurance to brokers, and contributing to profitable development of US Casualty offering.
Requirements
- Underwrite US Casualty risks in line with the business plan, underwriting strategy, and personal authority levels
- Manage and develop strong broker and client relationships, acting as a trusted and credible market presence
- Contribute to the profitable growth and ongoing performance of the US Casualty portfolio
- Support and mentor junior members of the underwriting team, sharing technical expertise and market insight
- Ensure adherence to underwriting standards, controls, and all legal and regulatory requirements
- Maintain market and cycle awareness to drive informed underwriting decisions
- Actively contribute to the development of underwriting strategy, best practice, and knowledge sharing across the team
- Represent QBE positively in the market, promoting the International Casualty brand and value proposition
