Underwriter – Commercial Property

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Property Underwriting Team in Melbourne as an Underwriter. The role involves underwriting new business and renewals, building and maintaining strong broker relationships, and staying up to date with industry developments and new product offerings.

Requirements

• Proven background in the insurance industry and strong Underwriting experience
• Working knowledge of Underwriting in a Property portfolio
• Strong customer/broker relationship skills and focus
• Proven knowledge of relevant market conditions for specific class/portfolio
• The ability to negotiate and have difficult conversations with Brokers and Stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
