Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced and versatile Application Engineer to join their high-performing agile team. This role requires deep expertise in Red Prairie (JDA) Dispatcher Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) combined with strong full stack development skills across Angular, Node.js, and Java.
Requirements
- Gather and analyse business requirements and translate into detailed technical designs
- Configure Red Prairie / JDA Dispatcher WMS systems to meet business needs
- Customize and develop PL/SQL stored procedures, triggers, views, and tables
- Develop UNIX shell scripts to support WMS development and automation
- Deploy configuration and code across Development, Testing, and Production environments
- Conduct unit testing and support integration testing, UAT, and Go-Live activities
- Provide production support and post-deployment warranty services
- Engage with stakeholders and provide clear functional and technical communication
- Contribute as a full stack engineer across Angular (v15), Node.js, and Java
- Build and enhance microservices hosted in AWS using Lambda, SNS, and SQS
- Work with cloud-native databases including PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
- Support automated testing using frameworks like Cypress
- Collaborate in an Agile environment and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
