Job Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Director to shape a scalable, secure, and compliant IT landscape for Camurus, a science-led biopharmaceutical company. The role involves defining and driving the global IT strategy, architecture, and delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and future growth ambitions.
Requirements
- Defining and driving the global IT strategy and roadmap together with the CFO
- Ensuring a secure, scalable, and fully cloud-based IT environment
- Overall accountability for IT security, cybersecurity, and IT policies
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EMA, GDPR, NIS2)
- Leading and developing the IT organization, including internal teams and external partners
- Managing key vendors, MSPs, SaaS providers, and enterprise applications
- Owning the IT and AI budget, including investments, costs, and ROI
- Enabling scalability for acquisitions, new products, and international expansion
- Defining how AI is used safely, compliantly, and with clear business value across the organization
