The Polisher is responsible for polishing metal fixtures and preparing them for shipment. This role involves reading shop drawings, maintaining a clean work area, and inspecting completed items for quality. It requires physical stamina and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Reads and interprets shop drawings and documents
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment
- Uses various pneumatic and hand tools to grid and polish metal surfaces
- Inspects completed items for quality assurance
- Must pass a polish practical test
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to bend, stoop and reach on occasional basis
- Must be able to visually inspect items
- Must pass a drug test
