Job Description
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk plays a key role in coordinating inbound and outbound shipments to and from facilities, ensuring accurate processing of paperwork and meeting deadlines and operational goals.
Requirements
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills
- Highly accountable, responsible, and reliable
- Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong decision-making abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving required
- Dispatch experience in the transportation industry is a plus
- Previous experience with an independent contractor fleet preferred but not required
