Drone Port Design Engineer (m/f/d)

As a Design Engineer, you will lead the development and scaling of electromechanical hardware of our droneport solutions. You will work closely with the electronics, software, production and certification teams to develop reliable, manufacturable, and certifiable systems from first prototype to series production.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years experience in mechanical development of industrial, robotic, or automation equipment.
• Proficient in CAD tools (CATIA V5 preferred).
• Experience with product lifecycle from prototyping to series production, and good knowledge of systems engineering methodology.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes: CNC, sheet metal, injection molding, 3D printing and additive manufacturing for prototyping and low-volume parts.
• Understanding of mechanical integration with electronics and embedded systems.
• You are highly self-motivated, pro-active and take ownership of your responsibilities.
• Communication in English is second nature to you.
