Job Description
QuantumScape is seeking a Principal Ceramics Specialist to provide expertise in ceramic processing and collaborate with partners to scale-up manufacturing of ceramics. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of ceramic processing and process engineering, with experience in ceramic materials and processing of thin ceramic films.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in ceramic process engineering
- PhD, MS, or BS degree in a relevant field with industry experience
- Fluency in Japanese and high-intermediate English
- Program management or project management experience
- Deep knowledge of ceramic processing, including powder processing, ceramic formulation development, and sintering
