Principal Process Development Engineer, PMTS

QuantumScape is seeking a Principal Process Development Engineer to help develop next-generation processes and tools for their solid-state lithium-metal battery technology. The team needs an experienced engineer with a strong background in processing or materials who can interface with mechanical and controls engineers. The role will involve designing experiments, analyzing data, and making recommendations for process and hardware improvements.

Requirements

• PhD in engineering or science with 6+ years of experience
• Experience in materials characterization techniques
• Experience in hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical systems
• Familiarity with mechanical design and CAD packages
• Working knowledge of statistics and proficiency in data analysis software
