Job Description
Qube Research & Technologies (QRT) is seeking a Cloud Engineer – AWS Specialist to build and enhance their quantitative research and modelling platforms. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, collaborating with research teams, and ensuring scalability and security. QRT is a global investment manager specializing in liquid asset classes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect or Engineer with a focus on AWS technologies
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch)
- Strong understanding of cloud security practices and encryption
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and automation tools (e.g., Terraform)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) and serverless architecture
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
