Job Description
Qube Research & Technologies (QRT) is a global quantitative and systematic investment manager seeking a Data Scientist to join their Data Search & Analytics team. The role involves collaborating with trading, data engineering, and engineering teams to leverage data for the firm’s success. This is an integral team for the firm’s overall operations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist (or similar position)
- Postgraduate degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering)
- Advanced programming experience in Python
- Proficiency with data handling libraries such as Pandas and NumPy
- Demonstrable interest in financial markets and data analysis
- Experience working with both traditional and alternative financial datasets
- Excellent communication skills
