Job Description
Qube Research & Technologies (QRT) is seeking an exceptional Data Scientist to join their Data Search & Analytics team. This team will collaborate with both the Trading and Engineering desks to leverage data at the firm, specifically for implementing pipelines and data transformations used for investment decisions. The role involves optimizing data onboarding, problem-solving, and innovating with new data extraction methods.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist (or similar position) in a quantitative finance role
- Postgraduate degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering)
- Advanced programming experience in Python, including proficiency with Pandas and NumPy
- Demonstrable interest in financial markets and the application of data
- Experience working with both traditional and alternative financial datasets
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a high-performance environment
